Softball

Important Information:

Softball season is right around the corner! It’s time to brush off your glove and play ball!

Please join us for three winter softball clinics at Findley Elementary: January 13th, 20th, and 27th

Clinics are from 10:30am – 12:00pm in the gym and will be run by CMLL coaches.

Open to all Single A, Double A, Triple A, and Majors players, these clinics are designed to:

  • Get ready for Cedar Mill Little League softball evaluations (February 2nd and 9th)
  • Promote basic throwing, catching, and batting skills (The more experienced players will be challenged with more invlolved drills)
  • Re-acquaint players with each other

Players will be placed in groups based on skill level. Drills, activities, and games will be run during each clinic to work on softball fundamentals.

Please bring your glove, water bottle, and tennis shoes (not cleats). We will have helmets, bats, balls, Lite Flight hitting machines and everybody's favorite sliding pad..

Whether you are a new or a returning player, these clinics will be a great winter warm-up for the spring season. Come to all three or as many as you can.

Please note: there will be a small fee of $10.00 per clinic. This assumes a minimum of 10 players. Cost will go down if we have more than 10 players.

Email Mike Haedrich at vpsoftball@cmllonline.org to sign up. Please include player’s name, age, and softball experience and indicate which clinics you will be attending. We will have a ten player minimum to conduct the clinic with a maximum of twenty participants. First come, first served!

Hope to see you there!
