T-Ball Description

For boys and girls born between September 1, 2010 and April 30, 2013 with little or no baseball experience. T-ball is geared toward first year players in Kindergarten and 1st grade, as well as a few older pre-K players.  Emphasis is on the basics of catching, throwing, hitting, and learning a few basic rules of baseball. Softer balls are used and hitters hit off of a rubber tee with the help of a coach. Generally, players are ready to move to the next level after one year of T-ball, but some younger players may need two years of T-ball. Teams are formed with a maximum of 15 players per roster. Teams will be expected to play and/or practice 2-3 times per week.

2018 Registration fees $110

Important Dates:

TBD:  Coaches meeting

4/2/18:  Practices begin.  You will most likely practice once or twice during the week and once on a Saturday.

4/14/18:  Opening Day.

6/16/18:  Last day for T-Ball games.

Practices and games:  Your team will have either have practices or games two to three times Monday-Thursday and on Saturdays.  We have no way of telling you which days you'll practice right now.  We don't know the game schedule either.  Each division in Cedar Mill Little League has a league coordinator who puts together the practice and game schedule for their respective league.  By the week of the coaches meeting, each coordinator will have been given their fields and times they have available and will start making the schedule.
