CMLL Winter Workouts - Starts January 8th, 2022

CMLL Families,

Believe it or not, spring baseball is right around the corner and registration has begun. If you haven’t registered for the upcoming 2022 spring season, please do so here.

With the season so close we want to make you aware of our Winter Workouts that are starting in early January. We feel like it’s a great time to get the kids on the field and get them excited about playing baseball again. If we have enough volunteers and the weather cooperates, there will be a total of 4 workouts.

At these sessions our instructors will focus on base running, hitting, proper throwing mechanics, and fielding technique to build some confidence leading into the spring season. While these training sessions aren’t mandatory, they are a great time to get kids on the field playing ball. This opportunity is available only to players who are registered for the 2022 spring season. This year there will be no limitations in number of kids that can register, but I do ask that each player entered on the list so we can better plan the day.

Clinic Dates: 1/8, 1/15, 1/22, 1/29

T-ball, A, AA: 3:00-4:00pm

AAA, Minors, Majors: 3:30—5:30pm

PITCHING (AAA thru Majors): 5:30-6pm newly added time slot for those who want to stick around and get extra pitching practice

Also, we are looking to do another food drive for these events, so please bring non-perishable food to donate to those in need.  Again, please make sure your player(s) are registered for the season so you can sign up for our Winter Workouts.

Calling all volunteers:

For those of you looking to give back to the baseball community, please consider becoming a coach or team helper with CMLL. Trust me when I say no team will ever say no to another set of hands helping on and off the field. This also holds true with Winter Workouts; volunteers are still needed to run these upcoming clinics so please sign up to volunteer… unfortunately if we don’t have enough volunteers the workouts just won’t happen. It really is a great way to get to know those in the CMLL community and help develop our young players.
