    Cedar Mill Little League –

We hope this message finds you all well and settling into your new routines with the entire family at home!  Covid-19 is clearly changing the way we plan and prepare as a league; the Board met this past week and discussed many of our options for the Spring season.  Our hope and goal is to see all of our ball players out on a diamond this spring but we also recognize that we do not know if or when this might happen.  We are staying in close communication with Little League International as well as our neighboring leagues regarding the date when we can resume Little League.  As of today, Cedar Mill Little League activities are delayed until May 11th with the potential of extending the regular season past our historical date, in order to have as close to a full season of games as possible.  As more information becomes available we will continue to reassess the viability of a Spring LL season.

As a board we discussed how we can assist those in our community that are experiencing financial hardships through this crisis.  We have come up with 2 options for families that are currently registered for CMLL:

    1. Remain registered on your current team with today's assumption that we are able to begin our Spring season on May 11th.  We believe with even a late start date we will be able to conduct close to a full season of games with an extension into late June.  If the season is ultimately cancelled you will receive a refund of registration fees paid minus 15% for administration expenses the league has incurred to date.
    2. Request a hardship refund by April 5th  - this would be a refund of registration fees paid minus 15% for administration expenses the league has incurred to date.  This would remove your player from their existing team and for the spring season.
      1. If you would like to request the hardship refund now, please email – the process could take up to 10 business days.

If you have any questions, concerns or thoughts please do not hesitate to reach out to the league at

As your board, we are prepared and hopeful to put the work in for Spring season.  We hope to see all of the smiling faces of our little league players and their families out at the park when we as a community beat this virus.

    Stay Safe,

    Cedar Mill Board of Directors
